IMPORTANT UPDATE

We are deeply saddened and devastated to announce our forced postponement of One in the Woods festival on 28th-30th July.

Due to circumstances out of our control,  customer buying habits have dramatically impacted ticket sales. With 7 days to go, we have the impossible task to deliver a festival without the ticket revenue to support it.

As many of you will know, we are a completely independent company with no major sponsors or partners and therefore despite all of our collective personal financial input, cash flow has become a major problem.

When we launched this year we had over 18,000 of you sign up for tickets, we kept our prices low to support the cost of living crisis and also implemented the rave now, pay later scheme, but unfortunately this did not work as expected.

We knew the market was seeing unprecedented changes and that tickets were likely to come at the end of the campaign.

Unfortunately, we have not achieved what we needed and as we got closer to the date the major weather warnings have also come into play with heavy storms due next weekend leaving us in this awful position and forcing us to make this decision.

However, there is good news. We have been able to work with all of our fantastic suppliers and partners to offer a new date for the festival and the event will now take place on the last weekend in September. All tickets will automatically be rolled over to the new date and the ticketing companies will be in contact to confirm over the course of the next week.

We know we are not in this alone, this is an event culture pandemic with over 28 U.K. festivals having to postpone or cancel in the last 11 months, not including smaller events across the UK coming to a halt. It’s a crazy and difficult world out there for this industry.

Thank you for all of your ongoing confidence and support over the last three years and we look forward to seeing you all in September. We hope you can join us.
